2018 Youth Garden Grant
Deadline: December 8, 2017
KidsGardening awards funding and gardening supplies to schools and community organizations with youth-centered garden programs. Any nonprofit, school or youth program planning a new garden project or expanding an established one that serves at least 15 youth between the ages of 3-18 is eligible to apply.

 

Students at the Center Challenge
Deadline: December 8, 2017
Through the Challenge, it is anticipated that planning grants of up to $150,000 will be awarded to approximately 10 communities that commit to changing how they align and expend their work to help students, particularly children of color and low-income students.

 

Recyclebank Green Schools Program
Application deadline: December 8, 2017
The Program will award environmental project grants of up to $2,500 to 50 selected schools located within Recyclebank communities.

 

My Teacher Is an Olympian Contest (students K-3)
Deadline: December 31, 2017
Students must write three original reasons explaining why their nominee shows one or all of the following qualities of an Olympian: friendship, solidarity and fair play. They must also illustrate their reasons. 

 

Cultivating Cultures for Ethical STEM Program
Cultivating Cultures for Ethical STEM funds research projects that identify factors that are efficacious in the formation of ethical STEM researchers in all the fields of science and engineering that the National Science Foundation supports.
