PSAYDN Annual Retreat
October 5, 2017; Hilton, Harrisburg, Harrisburg, Pa.

PSAYDN’s 2017 Annual Partners’ Retreat – the only statewide retreat dedicated to a broad array of afterschool, out-of-school time (OST) and summer learning opportunities – provides a great opportunity for staff, advocates, educators, policymakers and partners to hear from OST education and youth development experts about policy development, coordination of quality initiatives and sustainability.

2017 Pennsylvania Afterschool Advocacy Day Training Webinar

Laura Saccente, PSAYDN, and Jennifer Statler, PA State Education Association, presented on how to have successful legislative visits at the state capitol. Viewing this webinar and learn the importance of being an advocate, acquire key messages and tips on communicating with legislators, and obtain information on how to follow up with legislators in their home district. In addition, information about the Advocacy Day agenda was shared.
